Sales & Client Care
I sell things people think hard about before they buy. High ticket, long cycle, heavy on follow-through, with $1M to $2M in open orders on my plate at any given time and an above average close rate.
The projects further down are the other half of how I work. When a process was broken, I didn't file a ticket and wait. I learned enough to build the fix, leaning on AI tooling for the code. Order tracking, spec comparison, a nonprofit's books. All of it running, all of it in use.
Consultative selling
In-home and showroom design consultations, custom quoting, contract execution with all the legal disclosures attached. Comfortable in the range where a customer needs to be walked through the decision.
Coaching & process
Mentoring new associates on product knowledge and consultation technique, and building the reporting that shows where a pipeline is actually leaking.
Pipeline & order operations
Auditing open orders, chasing manufacturing delays, coordinating freight and delivery. The follow-up that keeps a late order from turning into a lost customer.
Client care & escalation
Warranty versus out-of-warranty calls, manufacturer negotiations, service dispatch, and staying on a case until it's actually closed. Multiple locations at a time.
Eighteen years in Bay Area sales and client care, split between showroom floors, customers' homes, and the phone. Long cycle, high consideration work: a design consultation up front, a delivery date that has to hold, and a customer who will call back. I have run the front of that process and the back of it, and I have trained the people doing both.
Also: Treasurer for a school music nonprofit since 2024, handling accounts, vendor payments, and monthly statements. B.S. in Business Administration in progress at SNHU. Full history available on request.
Every one of these started as a problem I hit at work or in the community. I scoped it, built it with AI assistance, and I host and maintain all of them myself. They're here as evidence of how I chase a problem down, not as a software résumé.
Let's talk
Open to sales and client-care roles in the Bay Area, and to building custom tools like dashboards, order tracking, and internal reporting for teams that have outgrown the spreadsheet.
